A few things done today:

+ went to Nordstrom and returned my purple Coach purse. I had to. Too many bags, and I just finally had to admit that this one was not practical to my purposes. Too small. Too much of a pain to retrieve from. So I changed it for a $175 gift card and bought myself a nice Clinique lipstick and eyelid touch tint. Still have a pretty loaded card, I’ll sit on it awhile.

(I have been using this other black leather bag I got for 40% off at ebags and so far the “test drive” is going really well.)

+ then I wandered around and ended up at JCrew. They were having this bigass half-price sale on winter stuff, like everyone else. I grabbed the very last set of pink and white wool mittens with suede palms ($10) and superlong matching scarf with fringe ($30). Yaaay.

+ I left downtown and headed for the supermarket to haggle with them about how on xmas eve when I asked for $20 cash back they didn’t give it to me and I neglected to say anything because the place was a complete and total madhouse and I felt like I was really being rushed out the door. Customer: always right!

+ walked home in the rain.

+ this morning we played with my sewing machine some more. I am going to find a blue-printed fabric somewhere and make curtains for the office. That room has no window covering at all, which tends to make it really cold in there, not to mention the lack of privacy. Retardedly excited about making blue curtains.
