I think we are done designing the wedding invitations and wording. Played with photoshop for a few hours last night to get a good mockup to send to my printer and verygood pal Rena. She is going to make the screens and print everything, then ship it all back to me (certified! insured! FedExed!) so that we can assemble them ourselves. It will end up being very inexpensive and DIY and pretty. Hooray.
Today I have no plans. Still very sniffly and yucky. Going to make the Alton Brown French toast this morning (bread was left out to go stale overnight, and I made the egg solution last night too), and then I’m making gingersnaps to take in to work and send out to more friends. Ahhhh cookies. It would be nice however to own more than one baking sheet or more than one mixing bowl. Turns out you kinda need these things when you decide you’re going to cook/bake a lot more.

As a side note, what the hell are your A’s doing!!!???
I have no idea… hopefully they know what they are doing.
Oh wow, what do the invites look like, was it hard to think of an idea for them? I was considering doing the same thing, making a template or somethign and having a printer print them out…but I’ve heard it can be more expensive then just buying them.
There are tons of things you can do that are inexpensive. Think scrapbooking, they have lots of cheap supplies and idea in bulk.
I am lucky because I have software I can use to design the invites, and my friend makes these things for a living, so has her own screen press. It’s just one of those things where the connections you have will reveal themselves to you. If you are having over 200 guests, I would suggest something very simple, maybe just a two-sided heavy card and an RSVP postcard enclosure. That many invites will add up!
