Hi. I went for a walk today for two hours. My poor left foot still hurts and this concerns me, because my plan for the next three weeks is to walk every day for a few hours, and in fact to try to avoid taking the bus. If one of my feet doesn’t work, this whole disability thing is going to be a waste. It’s pretty easy to just sit at my desk at work (with back pain) when my foot is sore. Not so easy to get all my prescribed activity.
I have no idea what is wrong with it but I have a very bad feeling it has something to do with the 4″ heels I was wearing on Wednesday for my wedding gown fitting. I’m starting to be scared about those shoes, even though I love them. Should I wear different shoes? Should I get my dress re-pinned? Oh goddammit. I’ll call the shop Monday and see what they think. Surely she hasn’t started on it yet. I’m so difficult.
I painted my fingernails and toenails red red RED today, and watched “Frida” on DVD. No, not “Friday.”
Speaking of Friday, I hope to be going to the zoo that day with Tamara and her wee one.
Brian has been at a seminar all day and I miss him.

I don’t think wearing heels for three hours could mess your foot up that badly, actually.
Maybe you need extra arch support? Do you have very high arches?
I only wore these shoes for like 20 minutes at the fitting and my feet were kiling me right after, and my left foot was so sore the next day I couldn’t go to the gym. In fact it still hurts. They are FOUR INCH heels, higher than I have ever worn.
I bought some cute 1.5″ heeled mules today which I love and will wear instead. Just need to go get the hem re-pinned this week.
See earlier rant a couple months ago about how my feet have never ever been able to muster high heels.
