My mom mailed me a knitting project, yay! She sent two needles and two skeins of beautiful apple-green yarn. The yarn is actually more like a velvety ribbon, so easy to work with. She had cast on the first few rows, and last night I did another ten or so. It’s going to be a long scarf, as long as I can make it. I was also thinking of visiting the yarn store in Hayes Valley and finding a complementary colored yarn to add in a couple of stripes.

So last night I lay on the couch with my sweetie, knitting my spring scarf and watching The Amazing Race. Mmmm.
