Good news today: I finally went and picked up my “new” and old ring. The diamond in it is new, the setting is a dozen years old. They polished the ring up so perfectly that what was once a dullish almost-yellow is now bright and gleaming white gold. The setting and stone are both amazing. So we finally, finally finished the engagement ring. I know, how retarded that it took a year. Oh well! I love it, and I now have a ring that I will actually want to wear on my hand every day, along with my wedding band.
No response yet from Macy’s. Whatever. Why would they care to make me feel any better, when ripping off their customers and selling cheap junk jewelry at outlandish prices is just part of their business model? They have to pay for those four-page color ads in the paper somehow, right?
I feel really sleepy. Probably because no coffee yet today.
It’s so hot outside. I love it. Bare legs and sandals.
Saw my doctor this morning, the same old routine. It took two weeks to approve the cortisone treatment. Now I’m supposed to call the specialist and make that appointment. Sigh. I’m tired of going to the doctor all the time. Maybe I’ll be cured! Before the wedding! That would be so awesome.
Tonight I’m going out for drinks with my old roommate. Interested to hear how she met this new boyfriend of hers, who, like Brian, is a Michiganer.

Goose love geese and geese love ganders
Everyone else loves Michiganders.
I knew that. I was too lazy to correct it. π

I hate you right now, but only in a weather-related way. I just had to drive in snow* to get cat food and kava tea. While out, I was harassed by a ups truck/driver though, and that made my day. heh.
*wet, light power, and it’s RELATIVELY warm out (high 30s), so it actually wasn’t that bad.
I think you’ll be laughing as soon as June-August rolls around and it’s 50 degrees and foggy here every damn day. π
urrghhh…sun? What’s that? We only have a few inches left on the ground, but its seriously winter half the freakin year. Mike and I can’t wait to move out of Michigan…someday!
