Why this weekend was awesome:
+ the Giants won thrice
+ I drove around in the car
+ we went to In’N’Out
+ we also went to the gym
+ went to Target and now have cute and nice curtains on all but one window in the apartment, FINALLY
+ we rearranged the living room and dining room furniture and it’s a thousand times more spacious, open, and feng shui friendly
+ I got an email from my pal Cleo who recently moved back to New York state!
+ I handmade a purse for the wedding using material from my bridal gown bodice (got a yard of fabric with the dress). It’s cute and took hours but I finally did it!
Unfortunately I am also feeling zitty, OF COURSE two weeks before the wedding. I am thinking of making an appointment with my old dermatologist for the lovely paste and light treatment that works as a kind of insta-clearup. Fucking skin. Hi can I stop breaking out forever now?
Another good thing: we got our first wedding gifts! Wow. Tonight made some dinner in the amazing all-clad saucepan, which as promised heated evenly and beautifully, without a speck of teflon.

i want to see your wedding apperal!
Jane – 2 things.
1. I swear by Clearasil face wash – I haven’t broken out in years.
2. I’m shopping for a hybrid tonight! I am partial to Honda…used to own a Civic and loved it. I have a Ford Escape and although I ADORE that car, i just can not deal with the gas bill anymore so am yanking the bandaid off!
I drove both the Civic and the Prius and fell for the Prius by far. It’s just cuter and more hi-tech, in my opinion. The Civic looks like every other car! 🙂 Anyway the Prius also gets better fuel economy than the Civic.
Humawwg! Yay for stuff in general (well, except for zitty feelings) – say hi to Cleo for me! I miss her already, even if we like never ever got together at all my whole time here and it makes me sad.

I know how you feel, my skin is all of a sudden in spring cash and burn, I’m told its a combination of hormones and sweat (which came first?) Anyway I’m back to hydra detox, and I hope my facial will help too, (tomorrow) Which Biotherm did you like or did you ever get in to figure that out? Love, Mom
Re: zits
I liked the dark blue ones — the line for oily skin. The acne line was actually way too drying. I only need one product with salycilic acid, and for me that is toner. I didn’t get the Biotherm acnopur toner though because I still have my Clinique to finish, but I did like the sample you sent. I’m still getting used to it I think. My skin really has a tendency to dry out, and yet it is still oily. I also got a sample of the source therapie, which I like a lot but I am not sure yet if I need it or if it is making a difference.
I’m going to my dermatologist on Monday. I haven’t been in over a year.
I also stopped drinking coffee for now and switched to green tea, which is much better for me overall.
