So I wonder how happy Jermaine Dye and A.J. Pierzynski are to not be on their former Bay Area teams this year.

a) super happy
b) extremely happy
c) so totally otally happy
d) indescribably happy
e) all of the above

Can’t say I blame them.

Man, I didn’t even know Pierzynski had played for the Giants until I just now looked it up. I thought he just fell off the face of the Earth when Minnesota unloaded him. Shows how much attention I pay to the NL.

I’ve always liked Dye, though I wish we had the studly pre-broken-leg version that KC had in 2000 instead of the batting-.200 version we have now. Maybe today’s the day he started turning it around.

Dye was pretty good last year for the A’s, esp in the second half. So he can still hit. Also he seems like a pretty good guy.

According to my sister Tara, he sat in the Giants lockerroom and watched Twins games the whole time he was there. Sweartogod.

        Hahahah.

He wasn’t really loved around here. A couple of the pitchers called him a “cancer”. Those pitchers being Matt Herges and Brett Tomko.
