I’m really itching to redesign my website. I would only need to do a few things to it. I have the concept in my mind, it’s very stripped down and has no tables, just CSS. Also a script that pulls random photos from my flickr page. Maybe this weekend.
Work is slow. My boss just left, so that means I get to bail in a moment — to the gym. I am slowly getting back in the habit of frequent workouts. For now, though, it makes my muscles sore. That should pass soon though.
I dream of being in excellent physical shape again. Of being able to run again. Of being able to sit in a chair again like normal people. Of being able to lie down on my back again. The lower back pain I have had for a year now has made it difficult and painful to sit and to lie on my back, and thus, my pleasure in writing and reading has been taken from me. I don’t like thinking about that.
So I am trying to stay positive and keep believing 100% that I will get better eventually, and soon. My husband has been incredibly supportive and positive, too. One of the many reasons I love him so much.
In other news. Made banana bread last night with the mixer. It came out yummy. Used the loaf pan Allison gave us. I feel like I have a long way to go until I am a good baker though. I still feel like the things I make are experimental or can be improved upon. Except those peppermint cookies I made for christmas; those were kickass.
Giants are playing the A’s tonight and I am trying to work up the energy to care. I mean, they are both lousy. It could be a scoreless tie for 14 innings, or it could be a hitfest. I dunno. Both teams need wins badly, so it sucks that one of them will get yet another loss. Ah well. Tonight we are working on our wedding thank you notes, probably will have the game on in the background or something.
Wish they would install photoshop on my new machine here at work. Then I could play with my website here. Plus since I am learning CSS for my job, it would count as research!
This weekend: Laundry, horsie race, Target?, enjoying the proto-summer weather, geeking, naps.

So how is that mixer? That is my ultimate dream appliance.
