I redesigned and relaunched my web site today. It’s a whole new chapter for me in that I did not use any old fashioned HTML tables — the whole thing was built using CSS: cascading style sheets, at a level I haven’t tried before outside of my job. So I’m pretty excited because what I have here is actually very simple, and I can do a hell of a lot more with it once I learn a little more scripting.

In fact at work I am in this weird limbo where some days I use tables, other days I am in CSS/JSP mode. Later on this year we’ll change over entirely to the latter, and I won’t have to look at another clunky old nested HTML table.

Anyway.

It’s a lovely day. We got up pretty early to go see Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Nerds Sith. I actually really liked it. Poor Hayden Christensen, though. He’s spent half his career reading lines written by George Lucas; no wonder people think he can’t act. But see “Life as a House”, he was good in that.

Ok, off to enjoy the rest of my Saturn-day.
