Headed toward the treadmill today at the gym after work, I soon realized the only magazines to read were “Parenting” and “Newsweek.” Since I avoid the sensationalist bullshit national news media for the most part, I was stuck with mommy magazine.
I figured, why not, I intend to have a go at it soon anyway, right? Might as well start reading up on it.
Within minutes, my ovaries were crying out for SWEET SWEET REPRODUCTION. Damn cute baby pictures.
I also blame Rufus Wainwright and his angelical voice. Like Thom Yorke without the lazy eye and with the gay sex.
Ok then, good night.

Maybe Thom Yorke likes the gay sex too. It might explain the lazy eye?
BABIES. What with being ready for babies and being tired of living in the ghetto, I told S we were gonna pick one one up on our way to our new house in florida. Not that I have a house in Florida, or would steal a baby but he knows what I mean.
You should have seen me on mother’s day. I cried and cried and cried.
Awwwwww… are you guys trying to conceive or otherwise acquire a bebe?
So far Brian and I are just in the talking/planning stage. That in no way has any effect on my hormones of course.
I apologize for my hormones on a weekly basis. We have some options but none of them easy. We talk a lot (there isn’t even any planning going on) but talking doesn’t supply the necessary chromosomes. I’ve also come up with this crazy notion (anti-feminism? neo-feminism?) of wanting to stay home with the kid for at least it’s first years. That’s not happening in Calif.
Btw, I passed by the Vacaville outlets on the way to the state fair yesterday. I dropped 80 bucks at Banana. Oops. Some good deals though, and super cute stuff.
I really cannot fathom what is anti-feminist about not wanting to hand your 12-week old baby off to some strangers while you go back to the office. It is THAT option which to me seems horribly unnatural and cruel.
I’m like you, my ideal would be to stay home for a full year after birth. We may be able to swing it just by moving out of CA and cutting back on unnecessary purchases.
