vacance

August 28, 2005 by Jane

I’m all excited to go to Chicago tomorrow. I’ve been a good girl and am already done packing and getting the house clean and stuff. Who knows if I’ll be able to sleep tonight, I always get so amped up the day before I travel.

It was nice and soothing today to change all the bedding and do laundry and do other chores while listening to the A’s game on the radio. I wonder how the Sox fans will like my A’s cap at the game on Friday. Heh.

Tonight I made bison burgers for dinner, and after I had eaten half of mine, I went into the office for a few minutes to do something, only to come back and find my dinner on the floor being chewed on by Simon. Sigh. I yelled at him a bit, but he was just being a cat, so it’s not like I could scold him too much.

I went to sell clothes and shoes yesterday at Crossroads and the chick in front of me had literally five or six large shopping bags full of nothing but designer clothes. Of course the buyer was buying it no matter what it looked like — for the label. They’re snobby like that. The girl selling was rocking this bag, and now I want one, boo hoo:

Hers was brown but I love the green one. Shit, I should start my own damn purse blog.

Okay, time to watch and point and laugh at the VMAs. I’ll probably post from Chicagoland in a couple days.
