It’s now that part of the afternoon when I feel sleep creeping into each of my cells and threatening to carry me off to dreamland. The sun is glowing behind a veil of haze like a pretty little gold ball, and I have just loaded up on a snack of nuts, raisins, and m&ms. I don’t think it’s gonna snap me out of it.
Last night I made dinner for me and Brian: hummus, pitas, yogurt, cucumber, falafel, and olives, with a dish of sliced mango on the side. I was rewarded with his company during the Festival of Karaoke Crapulence that is “American Idol.”
I walked today from my apartment down to 8th and Market. Nothing too interesting to see, except for a Muni bus being towed and the rail lines on Market being held up by some guys on a crane fixing the power cables. The sun was drifting low through fog, the buildings all looked very grim.
