My slight fear of needles is all in my head, I think. Because needles don’t reeaaally hurt, inasmuch as getting pinched hurts. Which is not much.

I had some blood drawn at around 8am this morning. My doctor sent me off with a piece of paper to get some blood tests a couple months ago and I finally got around to it. One of the tests is a cholesterol thingy which requires an empty stomach. It just so happens that I ate dinner around six last night, so by this morning I was ravenous. But I waited until after two vials of blood had been drained from the crook of my arm. Then I headed back home and ate a bigass bowl of granola.

Whenever I am presented with some kind of routine medical thing like this, to get myself ready for it I always remind myself that I have been through worse, and I am a pretty tuff girl.

Sunday ninja class is being moved to a more convenient hour as of next weekend, excited about that. I mean, “Six Feet Under” is coming back on, so it all works out great 😉 .
