I started thinking last night while watching The Shining: whatever happened to these people? Let’s ask the IMDB!

Danny: The kid who played Danny went on to play G. Gordon Liddy as a child in a made-for-tv movie. He then went on to do absolutely nothing thereafter. His bio states “Because of his age (6) and the genre of The Shining, Danny was closely guarded by Kubrick during filming and didn’t know it was a horror film until several years later.” Man, Kubrick was a sick fucker. Danny is now a science teacher.

Scatman Crothers: died in 1986. Lung cancer!

Shelley Duvall: Hasn’t been doing much. A bunch of B-movies.

Young lady in the bath, old lady in the bath: Neither of them has worked before or since. Oh well.

Those creepy twin girls: see above.

The guy who hired Jack Nicholson’s character: Hasn’t worked since 1980. Maybe he died or something.

Jack Nicholson: Still being cast opposite female leads who are the age Shelley was in 1979. With the exception of About Schmidt of course.
