Yesterday was a wonderful Saturday. Warm sun, clear blue sky, spent the whole day with my sweetheart.

My favorite thing we did was to take the train down to Ocean Beach in the late afternoon and walk barefoot in the sand along the edge of the water, looking at dozens of empty crab shells and lumps of clear jelly creatures that wobbled like aspic. Then we walked up to the grassy hill set way back from the water and buried each other’s feet in dry sand to warm them up again.

For dinner I had a banana and two donuts. I know. Goddamn forbidden donuts. We watched Undercover Brother on DVD and it was hilarious.

Today I am going to relax as much as I can instead of going to ninja class. Since I’ve been sick, every time I go to class I end up feeling like utter shit the next day. Need to preserve the energy today and lay on the sofa watching baseball.
