I didn’t sleep too well last night. Twice a year we move the time on the clock around and each time I get all turned upside down. I do like the longer days of course. Also last night I was snuggled in between my two favorite boys — Brian and my cat Simon. Simon is a total bed hog, however.
The night seemed to go on for a hundred years, as whenever I awakened I was only half-awake, “drunk” on cough syrup, and lay there recalling my latest bizarre dream. Something about exploring a house with Brian, and how he climbed up into the attic and I was all ascared of spiders.
Regular readers of my site will be familiar with this story; I tell it about once a year:
I finally made an appointment (as I do every time this happens) with my doctor to get this stupid cough sorted out. Damn my lungs are annoyingly susceptible to tenacious colds. At least I don’t have asthma, right? I usually go get the good drugs whenever this happens to me because one time many years ago when I just let the cough go untreated, I ended up with walking pneumonia. Needed antibiotics for that.
So today I feel very out of it. If only I was at home right now. I would be curled up on the sofa watching the Giants game, dozing in and out of every inning.

i kept waking up because i heard someone snoring or grinding their teeth.
ahem. that was you, mister.
not that I am complaining of course 🙂
If only I was at home right now. I would be curled up on the sofa watching the Giants game,
dozing in and out of every inning.
