So, my skin is finally clearing up. Knock on wood. Here’s how I did it:
A.M.:
L’Oreal Pure Zone Skin Clearing Foaming Face Wash (with Buf-Puf extra gentle exfoliator)
Neutrogena Pore Refining Toner
Cetaphil face moisturizer with SPF 15
P.M.:
Neutrogena Pore Refining Toner (after work)
Neutrogena oil-free moisturizer for combination skin
Cetaphil cleanser (before bed)
Tazorac Retin-A gel (overnight)
There you have it! Wow huh. Also drinking lots of water, not smoking, limited sun exposure, blah blah blah. The end.

i think your skin is the best.
I think you’re the best. The bestest.

Re: skin type
I have combination skin — oily and dry, with acne that has been slowly improving as I left my late twenties. Visible pores in places, too. If I didn’t do anything (just used plain old soap and moisturizer) I’d probably be pretty zitty. I think it runs in my family; my dad had severe acne in his teens, and my mom has an olive complextion. I dunno, I have lousy Irish skin.
Hope that helps, sorry if it was rambly.
woah mang. ive been using the purezone cleanser in combination with a buff puff rip off (couldn’t find a regular buff puff for some reason.).
i used the whole purezone routine for like… a week and after 3 days my skin started to clear up. but i think its just like… i stopped sleeping in my makeup and actually washed my face twice a day so i think anything other than breaking all the obvious skin care rules would work for me. then i went to toronto for 3 days and it all went to pot.
