So, last night, I watched “Friends.” Just like I did last Thursday. Yeah, whatever.
Anyway it just occured to me that in either of these two episodes, Rachel’s baby is nowhere to be found. No one even talks about it. Did she sell it? Hmm. Because my pal Tam had a baby last July and I don’t think I have seen her without her son since then.
She has an awesome baby, and she is an awesome mom.
So yeah. TV is dumb.
babies are only cute for one episode. then a year later the kid is at least 8 years old so he/she becomes “more interesting”. yah..
I said this to Kuda when I was in SF last year: The best solution ever to the “What Shall We Do With the Baby?” dilemma was effected by the writers of the X-files. Soon as he ceases to be adorable, put him up for adoption.
Seriously. If Paul Reiser had had that little epiphany back in ’96, Mad About You would still be on the air.
