Pluses about the apartment my roommate and I will be moving into on July 1 :
- only one flight of stairs up instead of 3
- big eat-in kitchen with a separate room for the sink area,
who knows why - back porch/deck and back yard (communal)
- very quiet in front and back (street has pretty much no traffic
that isn’t local) - split bathroom, claw-foot tub!!!
- big gorgeous living room with built-in bookcases and pretty
sage green paint - nice wall-moldings all around
- office in front — which roommate and I will share since it’s so
damn big and my bedroom is so small - cable and DSL ready
- in one of my FAVORITE SF neighborhoods, a block from the
J Church line - southern exposure
- washer and dryer IN THE UNIT OMG
- general awesomeness
- friendly landlord, not some realty company
The one negative :

Unlike my current bedroom, my new bedroom is gonna be quiet as a cocoon… We’re gonna sleep like sleepy kittens.
