Hi! This isn’t directly related to your post– although I appreciated the link and did click though and look at the article– it’s about BASEBALL.
Since you are a newcomer to the community, you didn’t have the opportunity to get in on our community outing to see the Giants play the A’s at Oakland THIS SATURDAY, June 21, at 7:05 pm.
I have a few tickets available from people who now find that they can’t go. I’d like to personally invite you to consider joining us, if you are local to the Bay Area. The tickets are $16 each, and are in section 230.
Thirteen other LJers are currently confirmed to go; it’s a mixed group of A’s fans and Giants fans. Many of us are meeting each other in person for the first time. We’d enjoy meeting you, too!

My wonderful boyfriend doesn’t like the baseball so much, and since I am dragging him to the A’s-Mariners game on July 2, I guess this would be too much to ask 🙂
