Today is lucky! I have a fresh copy of Lucky magazine to prove it.
Allison says that Sasha the kitty’s oral fixation is probably a result of his being weaned prematurely or improperly. Same goes for humans, too, I bet.
She suggested I get him a little stuffed animal that he can lick to his heart’s content. I think the grooming relaxes him or something. He also likes to chew on stuff, but his only destructive act so far was eating my blanket. Poor, pretty blanket.
He is such an awesome cat. Hey! That is something else lucky (referring to ludickid‘s entry today). We got him at the SPCA and somehow managed to find a cat who is sweet, friendly, non-neurotic, and beautiful. You really have no idea what you’re getting when you get an animal from the shelter, personality-wise, and when we picked him up he was still extremely doped up from his neutering surgery the day before. So yeah. We got lucky.

kitties
my kitties does the same thing, but her sister doesn’t it s wierd. sometimes it hurts but she is so cute, i think getting her a stuffed animal is a good idea, maybe i will try that with my kittie because when she isn’t cleaning me she is cleaning her sister, busy cat…peach
