Last night on the J-Church, I was sleepily riding home when I noticed an older British lady get on and sit down about ten feet away from me. I knew she was British because she asked the woman next to her where Army Street was.

Anyway, she sat down, carrying a bunch of plastic bags, wearing large grey sweatpants and a big coat, maybe flip flops. She pulled a plastic container of yogurt from one of the bags and peeled back the cover.

She spent the remainder of the journey eating the pink yogurt with her fingers. I watched in awe as she dipped her hand deep into the yogurt cup and pulled out a good-sized wad, and stuck it into her mouth like a four-year-old sneaking frosting.

I wonder if that’s worse than people clipping their fingernails on the bus. Maybe.
