How to dispose of pesky flies in the home:

“…The best way to catch them is with vinegar, despite the old saying. Put cider vinegar and a little dish soap in a bottle and make a little funnel out of paper and stick it in the top of the bottle. The little buggers equate the smell of vinegar with a fruity place to mate and lay eggs and go down the funnel and fly around and touch the surface of the vinegar, the surface tension of which has been disrupted with soap so they get stuck and drown. Works like a charm. The end.”

I wonder if it would work with a bottle of blood for mosquitoes. Or sharks. Hmm.

    OMG.

This weekend I saw the most horrific real life videotape of this woman whose legs were bitten off by a shark when she was 19. It was the single most terrifying thing I’ve seen in my life.

You’d need a really big bottle for the sharks.

my mom does something like that to catch fleas – like detergent water in an old bleach bottle with holes cut into the sides? a night-light was involved, too – the fleas were attracted to the light?
