People who carry their Halloween costume to work in a bag and then put it on only for the party are total wusses. This morning I rode to work on the 22 Fillmore bus wearing my full black gi, belt, hair up in a bun, and sword through my belt. I felt awesome. I think I was the only one on the bus in costume.
I stopped at the coffee cart on my way to the office and this guy said to me, “I had almost forgotten today was Halloween.”
“It’s Halloween?” I replied. He enjoyed that.
Tonight it’s supposed to rain for the first time in months. I don’t really mind. We are supposed to go to a party, but I
don’t plan to stay too long, given that I don’t really drink and am not much of a partyer.
This weekend is going to be nice and relaxed. I’m going to do a little shoppin with the boyfriend tomorrow, but otherwise I’ll chill out and start my kickass novel!
I like cold weather. I like sweaters and jackets and hats.

I developed a bad cold last night 🙁 UGH. Not what I needed. I had a pretty crappy night as Brian and I were locked out of our apartments (neither of us managed to have keys) ALL NIGHT. Now I just want to sleep until Monday. BOO HOO WAAAAH.

Cold weather?
Jane, I love sweaters and jackets and hats too but cold weather? Of course, it gets really cold here – not the wind pants cold that Sophie Max endures but there is snow on the ground and i have to warm up the car a little before driving – or the windows fog up.
Still, new clothing is some comfort and I bought myself some kick ass long boots with this great heel from Nine West.
