My boyfriend is awesome. I guess that goes without saying. He took the day off today, and came downtown to eat burritos with me at lunch time. Then he went to the movies. I had to go back to work, feh.

Tonight I’m having sushi with Rena, then home to clean up my room, again. Tuesday is training, Wednesday date with Brian, Thursday Hyperbowling with the pals, Friday dinner with friends from out of town. When am I supposed to lay around like a lazy jerk? I ask you.

I saw my lovely dermatologist last week. He was as cool as ever, but chided me for not following his dosage recommendation (I had been taking 40mg per day instead of the prescribed 60). He said that not following the dosage is what results in needing to repeat the course of Accutane later on. So I sighed and agreed that I would follow his instruction, he’s the one with the “medical degree” and “years of experience with patients.”

My face is no longer an oil slick at midday. In fact it doesn’t get oily at all. My hair is clean and soft for longer — not as oily as usual. Only three months to go, but I wish I had done it in the summer, before the cold and wind started. Luckily I am a great supporter of moisturizer and lip balm. And delicious, life-giving water.
