My livejournal pages and layouts have turned themselves a hideous shade of fuschia. Scanning the fascinating latest posts stats page, I see I am not alone, and I will wait for this error to be corrected or explained by LJ.
Still sick today, but I went to work anyway and was nonetheless productive. Ate too much fuckin candy. Ugh. Take it away!
I need to call the library and my dermatologist. Don’t let me forget. I got another compliment on my skin today. Ahh. No one but me is noticing the mild flakiness.
I started the “Novel” tonight, writing just over 1000 words. However, I intend to rewrite all of it, changing it from third person perspective to first person. Not just any first person — first person as though telling to a listener. “I am going to tell you what happened that day.” Why not.
I wish I could write a book like “The Sheltering Sky.”

i actually hated the sheltering sky. i read it in morocco and i made myself finish it even though it made me want to through myself under a camel.
WELL I liked the way it was written. SO THERE. And I did not read it in Morocco.
haha! cool! i just found it really depressing.
My pages have turned equally hideous. This must change! My precious, precious sense of aesthetics!
I think Sophie did it with her post “Everything Is Back to Normal”
HEY!
It wasn’t me! Besides what I am looking at right now is very pretty and not a fuschia in sight. So I guess the bug is fixed!
(I likea this layout a lot, actually. I’m thinking sage green is a color I need in my house somewhere.)
