I love love love having long hair. I can’t believe I actually waited until now to grow it long. Right now it’s the longest it has been for my WHOLE LIFE — to my bra strap in back. My hair was made to be long, it’s thick, it’s straight with just a hint of wave. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to short hair. The downside is that brushing and washing it is a chore, I’m always finding big long hairs everywhere, and it gets in my face often. Worth it though.

Aren’t you all happy to know that? It truly is fascinating!

Tonight Brian came over and we went for a run in the park together, then worked on some omote gyaku and did some sanshin no kata stuff. Translation: wrist locks, followed by the five striking “poses” or kata.

We walked home in the dark with a bag of groceries, up the giant hill, talking about the funny scenes from the movie about us we’re gonna make. You know, the one where I ride across the country on a pony named Sparkles and Brian takes an airplane only he’s played by a Samoan stuntman and we have all these wacky outtakes? Like of me and the pony taking a taxi together? Ha ha ha. Oh, good times.

We watched “Run Ronnie Run!” starring David Cross after dinner, and at the end of the movie they have these awesome fake outtakes in the style of Jackie Chan stunt outtakes — possibly the funniest thing in an already very funny movie. You should see it. Mang.
