Hey. No more chocolate pudding before bedtime. Last night I for real thought I was going to throw up, but instead I just lay there in bed with my cat, holding my tummy, and whimpering. I soon fell asleep and woke up free from the sweetbelleh.
Tonight I’m going to training, as I do on Tuesdays. Going to miss the mayoral debate on TV. Going to miss the TV debut of Paris Hilton, retarded bulemic coke-whore princess. Going to miss the Queer Eye show. Oh well. I will get through it, somehow.
I am going to work on my ukemi (rolling) tonight. And try to focus on taking balance and triangulation of balance. Hard concepts. The natural defensive response to an attack is power and strength, when so much more can be achieved through leverage and balance control, using less energy and requiring less body mass on my part. As I am kind of little.
The samurai movie coming out on Friday apparently has a scene featuring “hollywood ninjas.” You know, gangs of guys dressed in black and wearing hoods on their heads. Absolutely nothing like historical ninjas. Also it looks like they stand around taking turns during the battle against one guy (Cruise) with a sword.
Let the record show that one guy with a sword facing two or more trained — even unarmed — ninjas will always lose. Always. Unless the guy with a sword is a fuckin ninja. Sorry, Tommy.
Still gonna see the movie, though. Everything else in it looks awesome.

heeeeeeeya!
I’m not sure what that’s supposed to mean…
The skill level of the people involved plays a pretty big role in deciding who would survive. Most people wouldn’t be doing something like that unarmed. In said situation, if you want to win – cheat – because it’s your life on the line.
True. You are very wise, Brian-san.
I’m just annoyed at how movie ninjas are always the “bad guys” and always get beaten by the dozen, as though they have no warrior skill at all.
Rather, someone should make a movie about actual ninja life, and portray them as they were, which was more of a heroic guerilla figure along the lines of Robin Hood.
I nominate you and me to make this movie.
I’ve been wanting to check out the ‘shinobi no mono’ series. Hatsumi and Takamatsu did some work with the producers of the movies to assist with historical accuracy and help with the fight coreography (i think).
ninja scroll does a pretty good job with the portrayal of ninjahood.
