Check out the fifteen finalists for the MoveOn.org “Bush in 30 Seconds” ad contest. Nice work.

Lovely sunny day today. At 7:51 this morning, I officially became thirty-one years of age. Huzzah.

Coworkers decorated my cube with balloons and an Elmo Happy Birthday banner. Yay! Also, donuts. I have good coworkers.

I was just about to post this when I saw you had already…spooky. They were pretty good, huh? I especially liked the one with children working in factories to pay off the deficit.

BTW, Happy birthday…I turn 33 tomorrow (and can’t believe it, I think I’m stuck at 28 or so).

  Oh no, thirty is great. Everyone older than me always told me the 30s were better than the 20s, and I suspect they were right.
  
  It’s situational of course. But by 30, most people have a better handle on who they are than they did at 25 or 20. One hopes.
