This morning I got out of bed just after Brian left for work. I fed the cats and immediately thereafter popped in the A.M. yoga DVD and did the easy 20-minute routine. My goal is to work the persistent dull pain out of my hip and sit-bone joints.
I am looking forward to my Sunday morning yoga class with much anticipation. It’s one of the best classes I have ever taken. My earliest experiences with group yoga were unfortunately tainted by instructors who felt it necessary to walk around “correcting” students’ poses — something I have always felt belonged more in a ballet class.
My coworkers and I just walked down to the local (closest) Starbux. This is the one that I have only visited twice in the past fourteen months because one of the guys who works there wanted to date me, I gave him my number (mistake, wish I’d known the rejection number), and then totally shook him off forever when he gave me a very creepy vibe the next time I saw him. Always trusting my gut.
Anyway he still works there and I think he saw me walk in, and he went to the back. Bleah. I wonder what it was about him that sent up those red flags? He acted over-familiar with me, and in the voicemail he left, he sounded weird and annoyed, as though he would be pissed if I didn’t call him back. Ok whatever, total stranger.
I got a short mocha, it is yummy. I don’t go to Starbucks that often, but it’s fun to order off the unlisted short menu. Eight little ounces. Shhhh.
