Some “must-have” “essentials” according to a very large name-brand bridal site:

  • garters. No I will not be performing this ritual. Sorry.
  • a baseball cap that says “bride” on it. Uh, no.
  • a reception party music CD. For people who don’t really have any musical taste and just want something nice and generic. Essential!
  • a wedding coloring book. For all the child brides.
  • a white hankie embroidered with “Mother.” eeek.
  • a wedding countdown timer, I kid you not. It’s a digital timer that counts down the remaining days, hours, and minutes until your special pretty princess moment. Obsess much?

Mrow!

Don’t forget to change your cell phone ring to be the wedding march song. guh. All of the girls I worked with at my last real job would take that list totally seriously.

The “bride” baseball cap would be great if you could make Brian wear it.

Ohmigawd, and don’t forget the t-shirt with Future Mrs. Church on it!! I saw Jessica Simpson wearing one on her show.

AND if you guys got married at Disney World, you could have Mouse hats with little bridal veils and top hats on them, too!
