2. Have I mentioned how much I love the fact that Gavin Newsom — the guy I voted against in the recent mayoral race here in SF — is now being seen as a liberal loose cannon? I love the shit out of that, and I must say that I am very happy he did what he did, and don’t feel so bad about Matt losing now.
re #2) Yeah, the minute he was denounced by some right wing nutjob as a “rogue mayor,” Newsom rose very high up on my list of admired politicians (admittedly, a very short list these days, and easy to rise up on, but still, you go, Gavin).
