Ten days til Tokyo.
We met with a caterer today at lunch and came up with some good menu ideas, talked about how the wedding day will go schedule-wise, even discussed flowers.
When I get home tonight, I’ll be met with brand new kitchen cabinets and counters, hopefully. Landlord finally decided to upgrade the crappy old veneer cabinets and plastic countertops with maple and granite. Just in time for me to move out! Heh.
Hip problems: the pain will go away one day and come back the next. I don’t know what is going on but I guess I have to be patient, as my acupuncturist told me. But when we get back from Japan I will probably get a physical therapist, and order some more Western tests on myself. I want this problem SOLVED. And GONE.
I need to write more, read more, and use time constructively. I am going to interbunny less — by that I mean I will probably only post to one forum/message site from now on. Those who know what I am talking about will quickly figure out which one I mean…
I am so excited to start getting ready for the wedding, but I know it’s too soon to do anything except reserve people for the date (caterer, venue, photographer). But I can’t wait to start making things, coming up with designs, doing the fun stuff.
I don’t think he reads my blog or anything, but I still want to send the bestest vibes to my friend Evan from the dojo who was just diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. Very sad for him and his family; who knows what will happen. He’s a really great guy and is always smiling.
