Today will not be the last time I vote for John Kerry. And I hope that November 4 is not the last time I vote for John Kerry, either.
There’s a funny feeling buzzing around that Bush will be beaten. Soundly. The superstitious part of me says to hush and not jinx it. Heh.
The weather has turned here. It’s sunny and clear. I’ve got work to do. I brought a bag of oranges to work for my manager’s birthday. She’s pregnant and craves Vitamin C in the afternoon.
I think a week of raw food is already affecting Simon. I noticed last night that his already-soft fur seemed even lusher than usual. And he certainly has been happy and content, too. Bright-eyed, looking out the window at pigeons flying by, making little noises in his throat.
I am looking forward to acupuncture tomorrow morning. It will be my first time. My insurance actually partially covers it, which is remarkable. I just hope that it helps me. I am not so afraid of being stuck with pins, if it even comes to that.

hey jane, my roommate is studying acupuncture and i may get a treatment next month for fatigue. lemme know how it goes.
also, did you see Arnie in the paper today, with Grey Davis? they were on Leno and Arnie made a comment about how he would support gay marriage if it was voted on and how he is against a constitution change. anywho, the good part of this? Bush is making a California visit in two days. awesome that there is a division between our republican governor and bush.
(ps: i keep trying to post this comment and it wont work so delete it if it shows up a gazillion times…)
Might be the case in San Fran, but around here on the east, seems that Bush is dominating quite a bit… 🙁
There have been at least two nationwide polls in the last month that show Kerry AND Edwards each beating Bush/Cheney, and one this week showing that a Kerry/Edwards ticket beats Bush/Cheney. These polls were published by the AP and taken nationwide, and I think they indicate a trend.
Then again, I avoid all television news, which is always Bush slanted.
I certainly hope Kerry takes on Edwards as his running mate, because without him, I think the Kerry ticket is sorely doomed. While states like California and New York/New Jersey (places where we are) are historically democratic, the vast majority of people out there are still have a rather big crush for Bush.
Here’s an interesting read:

I just don’t understand that logic. He didn’t win the popular vote in the first election, and has fucked up the country so bad since then I don’t see how any Gore voters will be swayed to him. Bush’s approval rating is now at its lowest level ever.
Bush is gonna lose. And I saw anti-war stickers on pickup trucks in the heart of Michigan, so, don’t assume that the people in the middle states are so happy with Bush. He has screwed them over more than almost anyone else.
jesus, sorry about the gazillion posts. 🙂
Heh. And I thought you had given me 12 comments 🙂
