the ache

March 9, 2004 by Jane

I decided not to go to woman warrior camp on Saturday because of the severity of my leg pain. This is annoying. I realllly wanted to go horseback riding and knife throwing. Sigh.

But I am going to my acupuncture and trying my best to be comfortable, which I now realize is impossible in a sitting position, when I am in any way bent at the waist.

It’s scary to think this has probably been building up in my leg for years and finally just exploded, if you will. I also looked up in-network physical therapists today and will probably try that since it is covered %100.

Yesterday was very warm and beautiful. After lunch I rode the train two stops to Brian’s work and we went for a walk together around Pac Bell Park. We could peek through the fence and see the groundskeepers working on the field.

The New York Yankees will be playing a couple of games in Tokyo while we are there. I know there’s no chance we’ll get into these games, but we are thinking of maybe trying to see a Japanese league game.

Anyway. Just need to get those muscles and tissues in my left leg to reeelax. To chill out. To circulate freely again.
