Pfft. It’s Friday, so I stepped on the scale after my workout. (Last week: 126.5 lbs.)
This week: 125 lbs.
AW YEAH BUDDY. Eh. I was hoping for a wee bit more, but no big deal. It takes time. I still feel, uh, jiggly, but I know that I must have gained muscle mass, too.
So, 7-9 more pounds to go, including muscle gain. This could take another few months, but I don’t care. I am having fun going to the gym daily. To be honest my #1 priority is still core strength and lower body flexibility. Because I am still frequently in pain, and it sucks.
Three day weekend, joy. Don’t have big plans, just doing some cleaning, checking out apartments, working out tomorrow, and cookout in Berkeley on Friday. Lots of relaxing, hopefully very little sitting in chairs. Watching some Netflix DVDs.
My brother said he would play a song for me on the piano at my wedding. Ideally, as we walk down the aisle. He is an amazing pianist and can play just about anything. In fact he is a professional musician, which is damn, pretty cool. And today’s his birfday! Woo hoo.
