Great Giants game today. They pulled it out in the 11th inning off a winning double by backup catcher Yorvit Cutehead Torrealba, scoring Barry Bonds, who wasn’t even in the lineup for the first ten frames. It was fun, and the weather was great too. Thanks to Bill for getting the tickets! We’re going to the A’s game Tuesday.

Yesterday while watching Shinsengumi with Brian (poor buddy had a migraine) on the sofa, I remembered something about Japan that I meant to post.

The crows over there have deeper voices than the crows over here. I could have been mistaking ravens for crows, but I got a good look at their bills, and they were crow-shaped. Their calls were just an octave lower. It was weird, it was cool. They were speaking bird Japanese.

thats pretty cool about the crows. i always think the same thing about cats….i heard a cat in Thailand, and i swear it sounded just a few shades different (if that makes sense?)

Yorvit really is the greatest. (atleast of this year in the catchers position on the Giants. 😉

Yorvit Torrealba is one of my favorite Latin baseball names.

Also, early this morning, you made a guest appearance in one of my dreams. You (a) talked about Brian, (b) were effulsive about how much you loved road trips and (c) petted an otter, in that order. You’re welcome.
