1. Today I finally bought a laptop. My very first. It is shiny and pretty and a Powerbook and I will name her Clover. I also bought her a special friend for her very own, a 20GB iPod named Button. It is a nice day. It will be a nice day when they arrive, too.

2. Oh I also bought a pair of cords.

3. My left pectoral is sore, but only when I raise my arm above shoulder height. And I plan to go swimming again tonight, but take it real, real easy.

4. I tried to make an appointment at the Bridal Galleria and got turned away for being honest about my price range. “Our gowns start at $1500,” sniffed the girl at the desk, taking pity on me while at the same time mocking me. “I make more money than you,” I thought to myself. Therefore I win.

5. I kind of love this foggy grey weather. I tried on a wonderful warm parka and thought about Chicago. Didn’t purchase it, yet, though. It’s not really cold yet.

6. Out of town pals coming to visit tomorrow. I hope we can all get together for a beer and spaghetti.
