Presuming that the following eight teams advance to the playoffs:
AL:
Yankees
Red Sox
Twins
Angels
NL:
Braves
Cardinals
Dodgers
Astros
I am going to pull for the Red Sox and the Cardinals because I loathe the other six teams for various personal reasons. And I’m rooting against the Twins because I hate their stupid fake-turf ballpark.
I hate the Braves for their retarded racist “tomahawk” chop.
I hate the Dodgers because they suck.
I hate the Astros because Jeff Kent is a jackass and so is Clemens. BOOO.
As you can see, I am not bitter.

I almost forgot to add that I also hate the Twins’ stupid white ceiling that makes outfielders lose the WHITE ball in pop flys.
Oh and I am doubly bitter because there are a few non-Bay Area teams that I like who did not make it to the post season. They are: The Mariners, the White Sox, the Marlins, and the Tigers. Sniffle.
Chicago (AL) and Detroit are two teams i root for all year, every year. them, and Boston. I feel for all three.
I guess I shall be pulling for the Red Sox. I was thinking I wouldn’t mind it if the Astros won the World Series, but I had forgotten how much of an ass Clemens is. Maybe Jeff Kent will hurt himself “washing his truck” again and miss the playoffs.
I miss my poor Tigers doing well. 20 fucking years since their last World Series. *weep*
