So, the first “debate” is tonight. I cannot bear to watch. Mainly because the sight of Bush and the sound of his voice makes me want to puke. Or cry. Or both simultaneously.

So, baseball is on tonight. Again, I cannot bear to watch. Another disasterous choke by BOTH of my formerly-contending clubs. You losers don’t deserve to be in the playoffs if you are going to strand almost 40 runners in three games. WTF. Grrr.

So, no baseball, no debate, no TV. Yay!

I will go to the gym after work, and then I will work on cleaning the office, my desk, and organzing my iMac because it will soon need to be wiped clean before being sold to its new Mommy, dear Allison. Oh and Allison, are you interested in a 10GB iPod as well? The iMac will remain stocked with all of my CDs for your entertainment, btw. A lot of stuff. I hope you like opera.

Then I am going to read. I am reading this book I got at the used bookstore called “I Don’t Know How She Does It.” It’s basically a Bridget Jones ripoff where the narrator is married with kids and a career instead of single with a career. Same diaristic writing style, same annoying habit of incomplete cutesy sentences, which somehow manages to be the writing style of all the characters (as seen in email exchanges in the book). Example: “I looked around for my cashmere sweater. Found wadded up in back of closet. Am sure nanny did it.” It’s an easy read. Maybe next I will read “Underworld.”
