This morning I walked from my house to the Stanyan N-Judah stop. It’s almost a mile and a half. It took 15 minutes. It was a kickass walk. Next time I walk all the way to Cole, at which point it’s either get on the train and shoot through the tunnel, or climb over gigantic evil hill.

I had a dream that I was hours late to work because I was procrastinating so much. In the dream I decided to go to the gym and swim before work. But this took forever. Then I didn’t have my swim cap. I didn’t know what to do. Plus the locker room was for some reason flooded. It kept getting later and later.

Our bedroom window needs a screen so bad. Last night the both of us were sweating as though to break a fever. It was gross. The fan helps a little, but it’s really loud and disturbs my slumber.

I ran some errands on my lunch break. On the train on the way back, I overheard this woman loudly conversing with her friend. Apparently, there are all these super fun girls? You know, they totally party and take their shirts off in bars, and used to be in sororities? Fun girls! Well, they totally hate her. It’s like, so annoying. She doesn’t know why they hate her so much, but one of them is holding a grudge from that time train-woman hit her car in high school. Like, get over it. Oh my god. This other time, she went on, they were all in the same restaurant and these fun girls started making fun of her ring! Can you even believe it? she exclaimed, waving around the gigantic 2-carat rock on her finger. Wow, her friend replied, also sporting a garishly huge diamond solitaire.

People are funny.
