I guess I am a bandwagon jumper for rooting for the Red Sox, but hey, they demolished the Yankees and I love them for that. Plus they are just a really good team and really deserve to win with the great season they had. The Cards’ pitching is apparently overrated.
The yoga DVD I got is awesome by the way. As is the Pilates one, which has an hour-long “sculpting” workout with handweights that I haven’t tried yet. It looks very challenging. I watched most of it last night on super FF.
It’s wintery and crisp here. Our work Halloween party is tomorrow instead of Friday. No idea why, but whatever, I probably won’t participate. I really don’t care. I’ll have a few pieces of candy, then go work them off in the pool while everyone else is gorging.
I sold my iMac and shipped it off to Allison in Milwaukee. Bye bye iMac! Thanks for all the good times.

which yoga dvd is it? one thing I miss since I moved is the Tuesday night yoga class. maybe I’ll try to do some at home.
It’s called “Power Yoga For Everybody.” It has three workouts that average 90 minutes each, each of which can be broken into different segments (20 min, 40 min, 60 min). The three workouts are Beginner, Intermediate, and Challenging. I like it because it’s simple, thorough, and has plenty of different workouts you can do.

Ignore that reviewer comment; they complain that the set they used is “depressing”, which is pretty stupid. It’s just a plain old boring set, but um, I am usually too busy DOING YOGA and not just watching tv to care what the set and lighting are like in the DVD.
I was considering joining Curves, it looks interesting and like it has results. You spend 1/2 hr in there, and go from machine to platform to machine in a circle, going around the circle 2.5 times. I think you do this 3-4 times a week. But, I’m going to give it one more month of my run/walk 4 times a week thing, and if that fails then I’m going to go buy one of the dvds you’ve reccomended or join Curves. I will beat this fat dammit!
Halloween was so much more fun for me as a teenager. The candy horde in Bay City is insane. One year, I got a whole bag of pixie sticks from one house!!! I think I’m going to dress up in this renasiance witch outfit for work tomorrow and flip people out 😉
I’m going to a party on Saturday as a cowgirl, which will be fun because I will get to wear the suede pants I NEVER wear.
