I need new paintbrushes. I got some oil paint this weekend and it came with two brushes which are frankly both shit. I am going to get the best quality brushes I can afford. I had forgotten how much it sucks to use cheap ones.

I have another brush which is very small and fine-tipped, and tonight I spent about three hours practicing with it, painting very teeny details, staying inside lines. It was great but now my hand hurts.

Apartment is cold. Power company doesn’t come until Thursday to figure out why the heat doesn’t turn on. Meanwhile the cats are extra-clingy at night.
