i’m picking out a thermos for you

November 2, 2004 by Jane

Swam ten laps this morning. Ten laps, by the way = 500 meters in my pool. Each length of the pool is 25 meters, and two lengths = one lap. I miscalculated this when I first started swimming there, and would say “I swam 16 laps” when I really had only done 8.

I also voted this morning. Good turnout at my small precinct at around 7:45. I won’t say more electiony stuff for fear of the jinx, but I must say I am feeling a bare hint of giddyness.

But I can’t stand the supense and kind of want to go home and sleep for ten hours.

My KQED thermos officially keeps coffee hot for over five hours. Nice work, KQED thermos!

I super need to clean and organize my desk here at work.
