Hello readers. For lunch I had a sandwich made of peanut butter, banana, cranberry sauce, and thin slices of green apple, on wheat bread. It was fantastic.
I also went to Nordstrom to exchange some black boots I bought on Friday from a size 6 1/2 to a size 6. My feet fit fine into the 6 1/2 as long as it was the brown color –apparently black leather runs smaller. Whatev.
Swam ten laps this morning before work, it was a good time to do it — between about 8:40 and 9:00. I’m slowly improving, I can tell. I am forcing myself to not take as many rests between laps, or shortening my rests by half.
My lower back still hurts and sometimes I am afraid it will never stop hurting, and how much more it will hurt when I am pregnant. At least then the people at work will take it seriously.
Speaking of that, Brian and I talked about staying in SF until after we have a kid so that I can milk my fabulous health insurance/maternity leave while I still have it. Gives us time to save more money, too. In a couple years we will have enough saved to buy a house in Chicago, and we can also borrow from our 401(k)s at that point. But not too much, since I am fairly certain that Bush is going to ensure that Social Security will be obliterated by the time I am old enough to benefit from it. Basically, that money coming out of my check is being flushed down the toilet. Evil fucking fascist moron. Anyway.
Getting married in less than six months, wheee!!
I’m so glad “Arrested Development” is back on. Funniest sitcom on television. It’s also funny that I can hate almost everything the FOX network stands for with a passion, yet they produce one of the best programs around. How does that work?

just under three weeks until my wedding! i’m going crazy!
Exciting! Ha for me it is three weeks until our second “dating” anniversary. I hope your planning is on schedule.
the planning is going okay…still so much to do plus classes, work, and everything else! what is your anniversary? we will be getting married at exactly 4.5 years since we started dating which is crazy how that worked out.
