Weather predictors say it’s supposed to rain all weekend. I don’t mind staying inside I guess, but hey, it also might be a good opportunity to rock my new umbrella, right? It was a birthday gift, and honestly probably the last thing I will get from Coach for a good long while. I know this is probably hard to fathom, but I am taking a break from bags–especially Coach–ever since my most recent purchase last month. I know I only have ten handbags (small to large, spring to fall, fabric to leather to canvas, Coach to Bulga, so it’s well-rounded), but at the moment that seems like a pretty good place to be for a while, especially if my next bag is for diapers (knock wood).

In other birthday present news, if you own a Palm device or other such personal electronic accessory, may I recommend cases.com if you want to get a nice protector for it? I got this one for mine and it arrived yesterday. The leather is extremely soft, but it’s also sturdily made, and very handsome. Two thumbs way up. They sell cases made for individual models, so the ports are all accessible when the case is on the device.

My domain and email finally propagated over to my new host. I’ll get my site back up and running this weekend. It seemed to take a really long time. The site where my domain name is registered happens to be in France, which makes the translated-to-English on their pages kind of difficult to understand. Seems like I did it right though. If you sent me any kind of mail in the past couple days, I think it may have been lost, since my mail queue was empty when it came back up this morning.

I seem to have a novel in my head, but I don’t know if it is writeable or readable. So I just think about it and delete parts and think it’s stupid half the time. I guess that’s something.
