+ spring training starts in two weeks. the anticipation is killing me. oh but I almost forgot about the “world” baseball “classic.” zzzzzzzzz.

+ on tuesday I was stupid and ran on the treadmill for about two minutes. the next day I woke up to horrific lower back pain, right at the disc that was/is injured. I was pretty scared that I had reinjured my spine. yesterday I called my acupuncture doctor to see if he could fit me in (he is only in the office on Thursdays). He likes me, so he got me in for a quick treatment. woke up this morning and the pain was gone. Ah. Needles.

+ I got a portable xm radio to use at work. Too bad there’s no signal from my desk. I sit right by a window, but it doesn’t face the right direction. My faith in this technology took a huge hit. I can still use the radio, just not at work. I am going to try to just listen to their streaming online service. fuckers.

+ every single talking head and average joe I’ve seen making a superbowl pick is picking the Steelers. The best thing about all this manufactured hype is that it almost guarantees a Seahawks win. Sorry, 6th seed, the only reason you’re not sitting at home is because that guy from the Colts didn’t cut left when he was running back that fumble.

+ tamara and I are doing a little girly spa day next weekend. can barely wait.

+ I read “Don’t Make me Think.” If you ever aspire to build or design a web site, you should read it too. I also taught myself more Flash this week.
