Wave after wave of rain blows through, and I am reminded of 1998 again, when I would ride my bicycle to work, two miles into Emeryville on back streets, showing up at the office with wet jeans and hair, sitting there alone in my office with no internet connection but a broad and panoramic view of the bay, which most of the time was nothing but a thick gray squall.

+ Anniversary date
+ Having dinner with Allison and Jesse at Chicago Diner
+ Being in a real city
+ Taking the El
+ Visiting my in-laws
+ Pretending I live there
+ A freakish summer-like heatwave
I meant to write this yesterday.. Anyhow, I went out to lunch, saw the actual sign in your icon, and then came back to work to see the sign in your icon. Weird!
