I recently realized that there is a Japanese anime character who reminds me of the young version of the main character in my book, god help me. This was unintentional, by the way. It’s a cartoon that Brian likes called “Cowboy Bebop.”
How a futuristic Japanese cartoon character can resemble a fictional character I came up with whose physical attributes are actually very distantly based on a real person is something I cannot explain at this time.
Weird! A friend of mine used to tell me that I reminded her of that same character.
I used to know a guy who looked so much like this character that he could have been cast in the live-action movie. Except I am pretty sure he did not speak Japanese.
