holiday

September 4, 2006 by Jane

Today’s weather was actually quite perfect. I went downtown with Brian after we had breakfast. He had to go to his office and take care of some things, and while he did that, I wandered around Union Square, wishing I’d worn my sunglasses, and looking for a perfect slouchy black leather bag. I think I may have found one, but I will have to do some financial maneuvering — that is, finish selling off a couple other things from my closet. I sold one bag this weekend, I’m shipping it tomorrow. See, I am responsible with my shopping!

We had lunch downtown, and then headed back home. Since then we have basically been lying around. As one does on Labor Day, right? I watched the Giants win, and our pizza should get here in a half hour. ZZZZzzzzZZZzzzzzz.

Tomorrow: catch up on a bunch of podcasts while at work, have dinner with Tamara hopefully.

I got a lot of writing done this weekend. And I am still enthralled with the idea of working for over a year on a book. It’s like I almost don’t want the process to ever be over, I am enjoying it so much.
